The UIC and UIRR join forces to support BRIDGE
On 18 November 2025, the International Union of Railways (UIC) joined forces with UIRR to support the BRIDGE Project during a dedicated UIC ITSG – UIRR workshop. This collaborative session brought together experts from across the railway and intermodal transport sectors, creating a platform to discuss ongoing digitalisation efforts, interoperability challenges, and opportunities for evolution within the BRIDGE framework.
The workshop offered an opportunity to exchange views with key stakeholders from the railway ecosystem. Participants shared insights, highlighted operational needs, and explored how BRIDGE’s forthcoming tools, guidelines, and roadmaps can contribute to a more efficient and connected freight transport.
